John's Story
I'm 38 and have experienced alot so far in life. I got married right out of high school and had two boys Ryan 17 and Brandon 14. I served in the U.S. Army from 92-96 in California and most of the time in Panama where I met my current wife Sofia. She came to the U.S. in 98 and we were married in November of that year. She had a son David from a previous relationship who will be attending Portland State University this fall on a football scholarship. My son Ryan will be a senior at Hillsboro High school this fall and my younger son Brandon will be a freshman at Douglas High school in Winston. We also have two beautiful little girls together Jasmine who will be a first grader this fall and Karissa who is about 16 months and has already had two heart surgeries but is very full of life and spunk....Expand for more
I am very blessed to have the opportunities and family that I have. When I got out of the army in 96 I went to work at RFP Plant#3 in Green until 2003 when they shutdown and I was able to go to UCC and get my associates degree in applied science and interviewed with Intel and I started working there in 2006. I have been there every since and we bought our first house in Aloha in May of last year. I have played drums and written songs since high school. I am currently in the process of turning our garage into my studio and plan to purchase a new drum set in October and to continue writing and eventually recording some of my songs. It's hard to believe that it's been twenty years but I look forward to reconnecting and establishing relationships with a lot of my classmates so give me a holler!
