John's Story

My claim to fame in High School was when they had me dress up in a space suit and ride a float with a rocket ship around Atwood stadium. I was married for 46 years and raised 3 children in Swartz Creek. Worked on salary at V-8 engine plant in Flint, retired and built a home at Hubbard Lake. grand kids (4) went back to work for 10 years and spent a lot of time with grand kids. My wife died of cancer and I returned to Michigan and am now living at Houghton Lake, playing golf, and enjoying the water. I vacation on Anna Marie island in Florida for 3 of the winter months, and visit my children and grand kids.
