More about John:"As a Christian and a person of faith I try to make friends with everyone I meet, those who are different from me, who may not share the same values, beliefs, or political views. I would like to think that there are those who think I have never meet a stranger. I try to show kindness and goodwill to all.
This doesn't mean I have to endorse or approve of their beliefs, actions or lifestyles, but rather acknowledge that in our country we have the freedom to make our own choices and decisions. I believe that many of the problems in our country could be solved if we would all take responsibility for ourselves and for our families. Personal responsibility means we have the freedom to make good and bad choices but when we make bad ones we need to own up to those choices and take responsibility for them instead of blaming the outcome and circumstances of those choices on others.".
