John's Story
Life
Say now, hey now
Wow!!! What can I say... A whole lot of life has happened to me between my "Now & Then" pics! Just in case any of you might be wondering, the picture of me with the policeman is for real.... It is known through out Huntington Beach as the infamous H.B. bust. It happened back in the spring of '75' in my parents backyard...It 'Definitely' goes down in history as a Classic. Funny thing was, they weren't even my plants. They belong to my father, but like a "good" son, I took the wrap! I was 18 years old then... Once the case made it to court, it was dismissed due to some technicalities! Thank God, that's one thing I didn't need on my record! I found out a little later that the cop pictured with me turn out to live in the very same neighborhood as me. Once the dust settled down, we became good friends!. He has since retired and is no longer fighting crime! Since then, I've managed to father three offspring.
My 1st is: Sarah Marie, d.o.b. 12/18/75... My 2nd is: Salina Michelle, d.o.b 09/04/81 and last, but not least, my son Joshua Ryan, d.o.b. 12/31/83... All three have different mothers... I guess back then, I had enough love to go around! What can I say, I was a slam hound then, still am! Ha,ha!! Eventually in 1988, family ties wooed me back east ... Currently, Steeler country is home. Home of the Super Bowl champs! They finally got one for da' thumb! Its a big deal around here...Expand for more
, long time coming! Anyways, I miss So Cal. and all my friends and acquaintances, especially the awesome weather... Since moving to the Burgh, I've been back to the southland several times... If and when I can, I try to put California in my vacation plans. I usually stay at my sister Lisa's, who currently lives in Fountain Valley, just down the street from where we grew up! It seems no matter where I choose to vacation, I end up driving the trip with my Harley Hauler in tow! Its a great way to see this beautiful country of ours! I am currently the proud owner of a very cherry '93' Harley Davidson, FXRS Lowrider convertible... Its red & black with plenty of chrome.... For those of you that don't know, we lived in the track behind Five Points shopping center! Short of having the neighborhood paper route, my 1st real job began at the Denny's restaurant at the corner of Beach & Main! Its still there! Growing up in Huntington Beach was absolutely awesome! Except for the typical child abuse I was forced to endure, I wouldn't change any of it for anything!!! When I think back on it all, which I often do, from the time I spent at Crest View school, through out the years I spent going to Huntington Bch High school and there after, I must say, "what a ride its been". I hope to all that's reading my bio, life has been good to you. God bless you, one and all....
