John Guttowsky:  

Following my enlightened years as a Cavalier, I embarked on a life of having as much fun as possible. Determining that this life would not pay the bills someday, I decided to further my education. Due to my coaching some very successful youth basketball teams at Bethlehem Lutheran, I was led to a career of teaching and coaching. I began my educational pursuits at Delta College, where I was actually a member of the basketball team. Following my graduation from CMU in 75, I coached basketball around Saginaw, including 8th grade and Freshmen at CHS. In 1979 I accepted a teaching position at Sandusky High school(the one in the thumb). I was also hired as the Varsity basketball coach. After one year in Sandusky, my first wife divorsed me. Didn't like the thumb I guess. I coached the Redskin basketball progranm for 17 years, ending as the schools all-time winningest coach in the sport. In 1981 I married my current wife Suzanne. She kept me, at least to this point. I have two children that claim to be mine. Both are grown and married.
