Rose's Story
After graduation, got married, worked as secretary for about 2 years for State(KY), then quit work, had 2 children, Jason Avery and Christy Rose. Married 7 years to Avery, lived on Rocky Road, Millard, Ky., then after 7 years of marriage, Avery was killed in mining accident. After that attended Pikeville College, then Prestonsburg Com. 1993 graduated from Texas Woman's University, Bachelor of Science, Occupational Therapy Degree. Have worked for Denton Regional Hosptial for 15 years as O.T. In May, 2006, remarried (after being single for almost 30 years). Married a wonderful man and am happier than I ever imagined I could be. Have 3 beautiful granddaughters, ages, 11, 5 and 7 months. Still working and my work is extremely rewarding and fulfilling.
