John's Story

I'm living in Branson, Missouri. I have a beautiful wife, Karen, and 3 great kids, Jana, Matt, and Lauren. One is married the other two are in college. No grandkids yet but we're hoping. Starting life now as an empty-nester. I work as an independent insurance adjuster, some like to call us storm-chasers. Love the work but the hours can get long. canoe. Rock climbing with my daughter has also recently become a pastime. My wife and I play in our band at church. Haven't played my trumpet in a long time, mostly guitar now. Been trying to keep in shape and eat healthy, not always totally successful. So far our family has escaped any major illnesses, God has been good. I love it here in the midwest with the four seasons and the changes. We are close to a lot of outdoor recreation, but my wife and I do miss the beach.
