John's Story

John is from Richmond , spent 8 years in 2nd grade with Mrs. Small untill her retirement . I then was blessed to have Miss Haines.She couldn't teach me my ABC's either... I was then promoted to Mrs. Smith's class.... After breaking a small pickup of rulers over my knuckles I was sent to Mr. Orcutt's class. He got tired of telling me to " KNOCK I t OFF", so I was finally transferred into the 12th grade with my little broth...Expand for more
er Fred . With Fred's HELP we graduated together!!! I then joined the Navy and sailed the high seas for several years. I Had to get out due to chronic seasickness! I worked for several employers over the years. The most FUN I had was at B.I.W. for almost 30 yrs. I've been retired for several years. My wife and I have been married for almost 43 years. God bless Jolene,,, she's one tuff lady!! We love to travel and go often..
