John's Story
Life
Hello everybody,
My name is John Hysell. I was born on December 17, 1965 in Brooklyn, New York. I lived there with my Mother and Father and one Brother for three years until 1968, when we moved to Grand Haven, Michigan.
My education began at Grand Haven at Rosy Mound Elementary for Kindergarten and first grade. The rest of my grade school was 2nd thru 6th in Griffin Elementry. I then attended Grand Haven Jr. High for 7th, 8th, and 9th. My High School experience is where I started getting into Hospitality Management.

After graduation I left for the United States Navy and was a Mess Management Specialist onboard the Aircraft Carrier USS Constellation CV-64, for the officers Galley. I served from 1984 to 1988.
In 1986 I was married for about 4years and had a Son. Upon getting out of the Navy I worked for various restaurants until 1993, when I met my 2nd wife, and we were married on May8th 1993. In May we will have been married for 19 years. We have 4 beautiful daughters and live in North Augusta, South Carolina. I drove a Tractor-Trailer For 13 years all over the country. I currently work for Costco in Augusta, GA.
