John's Story
I was on probation at the end of my first year at university, and decided to study to avoid getting a job--and never left.
Am a philosophy prof. at U. of Dayton & spend summers doing research and high culture in Germany. Berlin is one of the most amazing cities at present and affordable. I have 5 books on medieval stuff out and am stumbling on a 6th. Am married to a German, and have one child.

ilm I have access to from that day (72?) when hundreds of W students crossed the street to avoid the daily head count and limit the funding for our dear Alma Mater. The film has a good shot of my brother pushed up against the brick wall by some administrator. The only difficulty is that Fagari viewed it so often that the sprocket holes are chipped on one side, so it can only be viewed backwards. Appropriate.
For what it's worth Obama is a breath of fresh air.
