Life After High School I went to Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio for two years. I then transferred to Canicius College in Buffalo. In September of 1971 I and a friend Don K. went to India and then to Europe and sold Indian artifacts. In 1973 I attended seminary in Boston. In 1975 I and a friend, Peter R, from seminary helped open and establish a home for juveniles in Raleigh NC called Haven House. It is still going today. We worked with juveniles who had been through the system many times. We would go the courts and review the cases and choose the boys we thought we could help. We could serve 8 boys at the time. It was truly the hardest job I have ever worked and the most rewarding. All of a sudden at 25 years old I had a family of teenagers that I lived with 7 days a week 24 hours a day. In 1977 I went to San Diego to work for the Boys and Girls Aid Society doing the same thing.
