John's Story
After graduation I attended UTEP for a year. Enlisted in the Air Force in 1973.. Stationed in Tucson Az at Davis-Monthan AFB for 4 years. Got out in 1977. Stayed in Tucson attending Univ. Of Arizona as a Music Major. Got married to a Burges H. S. Girl in 1978. Got a job at Learjet.. Had our Daughter Candace in 1981.. Had our Son John Robert in 1983.. Worked at the state prison.. Left college and started my career with the U S Postal Service as a letter carrier in 1984 until retiring last year June 30 2017 with 33 years. My beautiful wife Melissa was a teacher for about 25 years before retiring.....Expand for more
Our Daughter Candace got a Bachelor of Science degree in Fashion design in L. A. Calif. And runs her own fashion design company. Our son John Robert got a degree from The Univ. Of Arizona in communications and has worked his way up dept manager in charge of payroll and benefits for a local credit union.. I ve kept my hand in music performing locally. Arranging music for dance bands and writing songs. The wife and I bought an RV and are living in it full time now to see the country as much as we can as life will allow. Our high school years were the greatest.. Will be glad to connect with y'all.
