John's Story

Life Married in June of 1989 to Lorna Smith, class of 1983. Three children ages 11, 8, 7. Moved to Center Grove in 1995 from a ranch home on West Minnesota Street. It was kinda weird moving into a rivals territory but we adjusted. We got involved in a local church, Mount Pleasant Christian Church, and have been there since 1996. The kids are active in Indy Junior Golf, Basketball, Baseball, Soccer, and Fishing. My oldest wants to be on the Bassmaster Tournament Trail one day. I'm active in the Indiana Golf Association, Indiana Walleye.com, and Indiana Bass fishing. You can usually catch on a Mon, Tue, or Wed. at Monroe going out of the Paynetown Ramp. d me that I'd do alright donig anything that had nothing to do with Chemistry. I got through his class with the help of Jenny Horton. The three girls that I had the biggest crushes on were Laura West, Emily Welmer(Harrison) and Doreen Wilson. They were always a blast to hang out with. Hopefully, the 25 Year Reunion will bring back a few more memories. College Bounced around three colleges as seen in my profile. Finally decided that Aviation was the way to go, until I got into it and found out how unstable the industry is. I have been lucky not to commute all over the country to follow a job. I have worked for almost every Airline at Indpls. Int'l Airport and have finally settled down at the Fedex Maintenance Hangar. This has been the best job so far in my career. I hope to move into a management postion within the next ten years. The big "50" is closing in rather fast and a desk job is getting more appealing everyday. Hopefully there will be a large turn out at the 25 Year Reunion. I plan on going. Workplace Fedex Express, The World On Time!
