John's Story
Life
After graduating Riverdale in 1984, I attended Liberty University and completed my BS degree in 1989. I went to work for the Dept. of Defense for 3 years before leaving to get into coaching.
I worked at several different universities as an assistant men's basketball coach, including Liberty and Winthrop. During that time, I also finished my masters degree from Liberty.

first head coaching job at Nyack College (NCAA D-2) in New York, where I coached for 7 successful seasons. I was also a professor in the sport management program, teaching 2 classes per semester.
In August of 2008, I was hired as the men's basketball coach at Brewton-Parker College near Vidalia, GA.
In 2003, I got married to the former Lorna Torres of San Juan, PR. She works as an architect.
