John's Story
Went to St. Pete Jr. Col after graduation, got married, then on to USF. Got a BS degree in chemistry, then knocked around for a year before going to work for GE in the nuclear weapons complex. Worked with the group that designed the initiator for the warhead in the Pershing-II (on display at the Smithsonian A/S museum.) Got a couple more degrees in math and engineering. My oldest daughter was born while I worked there.

ing the system up and running. My youngest daughter was born while I worked there.
Left and started an electronics design company with an old friend from GE. Got my first patent there. My son was born while I worked there.
When that company failed, I started another as the sole proprietor. That one is still running strong as an electronics design and manufacturing firm. At one point the whole family worked here in addition to a half-dozen others. We've worked for IBM, Intel, GE, the fedgov, USF, etc. I've gotten about 200 hrs of helicopter flight time installing and qualifying mapping and camera control systems for police agencies across the US.
It's been a great ride so far...
