John's Story

Retired from the Navy in 1990 after 23 1/2 years as a Chief Hospital Corpsman. During my Naval career, I traveled to California, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Iwakuni Japan, Okinawa and Florida, retiring in Pensacola where we lived until 2004 when hurricane Ivan helped us decide to move north, away from the coast. After all, a snowstorm never blew anyone's house down. good one - never did sell an appliance), night stocker at Target, grading No Child Left Behind tests for Data Recognition Corp (I like this and continue to do it on an annual temp basis), and finally, starting this coming Sept of 2011 my wife Stephanie and I will be working for Maxim holding flu shot clinics in various locations such as drugstores, grocery stores and nursing homes. I'm a practicing Nichiren Buddhist and have been for 33 years. You can read about Nichiren Buddhism at en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nichiren_Buddhism Please take a close look at my picture and see if you recognize me. I'm the one with the hat ;)
