John's Story
I served 3 years active duty in the Army as an X-Ray Tech at Letterman Army Medical Center. I served 1 year in the Natl. Guard. Went through a carpentry program in Austin, MN. Have been married to my wife Mary Lou since 1980. Worked as a Carpenter in New Ulm for 6 years at American Artstone. Returned to MN St. Univ. Mankato to get my BS in Computer Science. Moved a house from the North Shore to my folks land North of Two Harbors that I renovated as their retirement home. Worked since 1988 in Technology Services departments, first, at Supervalu (Eden Prairie). Since 1996 I've worked for Target Corp. at our HQ in Minneapolis. Currently, I'm a Tech. Architect in Target's TTS/Enterprise Application Management Department supporting Healthcare and Pharmacy app...Expand for more

Hobbies & interests: Waterfowl Hunting in N.D., Pheasant Hunting in western MN, Deer Hunting in NE MN, Elk Hunting in mountains of western Wyoming and Montana, Sporting Clays Shooting
Goals for the future: Try to keep the day to day events and experiences in perspective. Find ways to honor my parents and those of that generation who sacrificed so much for us. Enjoy my work and treat those I work with and meet with respect. Start a small business I can work into as I near retirement with Target.
