John's Story
Was married 36 years. Now widowed since 2017. Currently living in Lawton, OK. Had midlife career change at age 37. Went to medical school and graduated in 1994 as a D.O. from the Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Board Certified in Family Medicine. Retired in August 2015 from Federal Service after working for the Department of the Army as a civilian physician at Fort Sill, OK since 2001. ard. Served as State Surgeon and Commander of the Medical Command for the OKARNG from 2006 until time of retirement. Retired with the rank of COL.. Now semi-retired, supervising residents a couple of half days per week in a clinic setting. Doing volunteer work at a local Adult and Teen Challenge program mentoring the students. Started doing this with my wife in 2014 and have continued in even a greater capacity since her death. Love to hear from anyone, and find out what you're up to now.
