Life I thought I should make a few adjustments here since it has been 8 years since my last update. Lol. Time flies when your having fun. After High School, I worked for 1 year and attended CSU for 2 years before joining the US Navy. I spent the next 2 1/2 years in the South Pacific with 2 extended vacation trips to Vietnam. My last Navy assignment was in Washington, DC, where I met my wife Carol and we settled down. We have now been married for 49 years. We have raised two children, Jennifer and John. We are currently enjoying our three grandchildren, Zackery (16), Jacob (13), and Benjamin (9). We have called Bowie, MD home for the last 36 years. Bowie is about 25 miles East of Washington, DC on Rt 50. After leaving the Navy in 1970, I began working as a civilian for the Department of the Army. My assignments were in various DOD organizations in the Washington, DC area, but most of the time was spent in the Pentagon. During this time I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Maryland and my graduate work at the National Defense University in Washington DC. I ended my career as the Executive Officer for the Information Technology Agency, Secretary of the Army. I may have retired from a career but I have not retired from life. I remain active with the Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts. I now have two grandsons in a Boy Scout troop and the other in Cub Scouts. Guess who is there to support them.
