John Mann:  

Life The beginning would be that I was born on June 12th 1950. My mother, Elizabeth Ellen Mann (Sweet) and my father James Lewis Mann. I had an older brother, James Henry Mann and a sister Julie Marie Mann My father was in the United States Air Force and was never assigned anywhere longer than 3 years and many times we moved within a year. I remember one year I was in 5 different schools. Ugh!!! Anyway in 1968 I left High School and joined the US Army. During my career in the Army, I performed various jobs from Air Traffic Controller, to management positions. In 1988, I retired from the Army. Looking for things to do to keep busy, I started helping the poor in Guatemala in 1991. I trained and certified a class of Air Traffic Controllers for the country of Guatemala in 1993.
