John's Story
I attended Ramstein Junior High School in 1967-68 and later went to KAHS from 1969-70. My Dad was stationed then at Sembach where we lived on base. We transferred to March AFB in the Spring of 1970 as I was just finishing my sophomore year at KAHS.
I remember Biology class with Ms. Sakoda (she was tough), Geography with Mr. Manatakis and German Language class with Herr ? (Just can’t remember his name). I remember thinking I might play football, but was just too small. Ha!

many. I have attempted over the years to find Cathy Hollander, I did find her sister Beth once. Debbie Szeredy was a friend at Sembach. Henry Laxen and I played chess a lot. I remember Claudia Hass, Mike Roach and a few others.
Well, I ended up graduating at Moreno Valley High School in California and then attended USC.
I moved to Bend, Oregon in 1978 and still live in Central Oregon, but now live in Sisters, Oregon.
I am a Project Manager/Superintendent for a local homebuilder after doing my own thing since 1996 as a General Contractor.
