John's Story
I married Marilee Erickson of Redford, Michigan in 1968 when we were both students at UW. We have two sons, Andrew and Patrick, and still very much enjoy each other's company. I have been an academic all of my professional life and for the past 30+ years at what was the Medical College of Ohio and is now the Health Science Campus of the University of Toledo. My general area of expertise is clinical neuropsychology and specific areas of expertise include dementia and functional neuroimaging. Dr. Phil I am not. ng program in the UT College of Law. As a UT faculty member, I could go for free.. It was great fun although it was strange how quickly exam anxiety returned after a 30-year hiatus. I graduated with my J.D. in the Spring of '10, passed the Ohio Bar and earned a certificate in Elder Law in the Fall of '11. I moved to semi-retired status at the University and was charged with developing new programs in law and medicine until June of 2013 when I was asked to return to full-time status as the Interim Chair of the Psychology Dept. on the UT Main Campus for two years. I also have a small private medico-legal consulting business.
