John's Story
So what can I say?
I'm a Navy Brat that joined the Army after High School and got to see exotic places like Korea, Germany and Vietnam.
After nine years of that, I decided to see how civilian life was. I lived in San Diego for 25 years, built ships and a family, and moved to North Carolina when I retired from the shipyard.
Worked for the Department of Correction for 7 years in NC, then was medically retired after an injury.

fun, and I can grow any facial hair I want, so I do the "Santa thing" every year.
I'm married with four adult children and eight grandchildren. (I think - the grandkids are popping up so fast I have trouble keeping count!) We breed and raise Dachshunds and Yorkshire Terriers.
I'm an amateur radio operator, a Second Amendment activist, a Christian and a political conservative. Add in ex-military and I must be on someone's watch list somewhere!
