John's Story
Life
after garad, I went to El Camino took a couple of classes then joined the Army. I was in for 3 years as a helicopter mechanic at Fort Campbell, KY. and Germany. When I got out in 1977 I got married to another Aviation grad (class of 76) have one son born 1980. we got divorced in 1984 then remarried in 1990 to my present wife, Araceli, she is from Mexico City.
I went back to college West L.A. and got my A&P license (airframe & powerplant) from the FAA. in 1979 and have been an aircraft mechanic ever sense. I now live in Las Vega...Expand for more
s. My wife and I (when not working) like to spend our time going dancing, movies, and seeing the shows here in Vegas. My hobbies usually maintaining our four cars.
Military
The times at Co. B 5th trans. bn. After almost 30 years now there is very little I have forgot. Maybe some names. I even remember the Holland House what a party place. And who could forget all the beer hopping joints in Nashville, boy what trouble I had down there. I went to Fort Campbell for a open house about 1997, not too much of a change, but what memories I had.
