John's Story
I attended Goodlettsville High from 1962 through 1967 and transferred to Hume Fogg High in the fall of '67. I have always considered Goodlettsville my high school. I had two sisters, Shirley Morgan and Joannie Morgan. I married in August of 1968 and went to the Marine Corp in November of 1968 and then on to Viet Nam. a law enforcement career in 1971, which I have been involved in since. During all that time, I completed college with a degree in Criminal Justice at Belmont.I have retired from one job in law enforcement (30 years)and am working on the second one. My wife and I had three sons and we have one granddaughter who is 13 going on 30. That about wraps it up for me.
