John's Story
Well, I left Warfield for the big city of Columbus, Ohio.I went to work at Federal Glass for about 6 years and then painted houses, apt., and condos for a year. I met my lovely wife ( Margo)of 39 years in Columbus.when work got slow I moved to her home town of Gilbert, WV and went to work in the coal mines for 28 years, during that time we had 2 childern, a girl and a boy(Sheri,Shon) and 3 beautiful grandchildern 1 boy and 2 girls( whom I love more than life itself).
I am now a disabled coal miner and my wife teaches school. my life consist of playing golf, doing things around ...Expand for more
the house, playing golf and playing golf.
One thing I have to mention is that when I found the year books link on here was unreal. when I looked at the pics and saw the names of all my classmates and friends that were so much a part of my memories I was thrilled to say the least. No matter where i travel or how long I live these people will always be a part of me. Some were older than me and some my age and even some younger, but they all make up who I am, and I want to thank Terry and all who helped make them possiable and for the great memories they have brought to life in me.
