John's Story
Got into flying at Don Hulse's family flight school in Teterboro. Started flight instructing and flying charter for
Teterboro School of Aeronautics and finally got a job flying a turbo commander for a company, that led to a job in Houston for an oil company flying a King Air, Citation, DC-9, after the oil crunch hit (the first one!!) I manged a Lear 35 for an oil family, great people but ...Expand for more
never flew anywhere but Louisiana and Jackson Hole. Good skiing though! Off to Dubai for a short stint at a private oil company as director of ops- even made it to Tehran and back (before 9/11), and finally to the owner of the San Jose Sharks hockey team managing a Falcon 900, divorce on his part forced the aircraft sale so I did a little contract flying and then retired to central Texas.
