John's Story
John is from Brownsville, Texas. He is married to Dr. Donna Wiseman. His schools include Mercedes High School. He later attended Texas State University, University of Texas at Austin for a Masters and Texas A&M for the PhD. He taught high school biology in Victoria for ten years, worked at Texas A&M with international programs, served as President of Minnesota State University in Akita Japan for four years, served as President of TransPacific Hawaii College in Honolulu for seven years, ran a Maste...Expand for more
r’s of Education program at Lipscomb University for three years, and worked with a doctoral program in higher education leadership at the University of Maryland for five years. He has since retired and is involved with extensive volunteering at the Jug Bay Wetlands Sanctuary on the Patuxent River in southern Maryland.
