My Spouse
She was my college room mates sister. Libby and I have been married 37 years and it gets better every day.
School
I regret not being kinder to folks in school. Upon reflection, I would have left on better terms with many folks.
College
Attended the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York. Graduated in 1974 with a degree in Civil Engineering. M.A. in History from the University of Kansas. M.A, in Poitical Science from the Australian National University.
Military
Garduated from West Point 1974. Commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Regular Army.
1974-1976 Assigned as a Paltoon Leader to the 1st Bn 29th Infantry Regt Ft Benning , GA as a 2LT. Attended Airborne and Ranger School.
Attended Flight School 1976-1977 Ft Rucker, AL. Promoted to 1LT.
1977-1980 Assigned to 8th Aviation Bn in Bad Kreuznach, Germany. Promoted to CPT.
1980-1981 Assigned to 73rd Aviation Bde. Columbus, Ohio. Flight Detachment Commander.
1981-1982. Assigned to 3rd Squadron, 18th Cavalry. Los Alamitos, CA.
1982 -1983 . Infantry Advanced Course. Ft Benning, GA

1991-1993 Aviation Bde, 7th Infantry Divsion, Ft Ord, CA. Bn XO, Bde S-3, Bn Cdr. Promoted to Lieutenant Colonel.
1993-1995 US Instructor at the Australian army staff College. Queenscliff, Australia. Attended Senior Service College in Canberra, Australia
1995-1999 Assigned to the Department of Peacekeeping Operations, United Nations Headquarters. New York, NY. Served in Africa, the Middle East and the former Yugoslavia.
August 1999 - Retired and moved to Hawaii.
Founded Complex Solutions Inc in Kailua Hawaii in 2000 and provided education and training to first responders to complex emergencies around the world. Primarily in support of United Nations Missions.
Sold Complex Solutions to Camber Incorporated of Huntsville, Alabama and appointed Director of the International Civil Military Division of Camber.2008.
