Hey! Who would have thought that after 32 years of not seeing each other or even knowing where each other lived that Debbie Fouts and I would get back together? Yep, 12 years together now and I couldn't be happier. We are both retired and hitting the RV trail. How did we get back together? Glad you asked. I always wondered what happened to many friends. When Claudia Conley signed up for Classmates.com, I plunked my $$ down and sent her an email. We emailed and chatted until tragically Claudia passed away. ied name (she was a widow), address and phone number. It took me over a year to finally call her. I didn't know she was widowed and didn't want to take the chance my calling would upset a perhaps jealous husband. I finally couldn't take it any more. I had to know how her life turned out. I made the call. There was no thoughts that we would someday get back together, just a friend calling a friend. After 4 years of flying back and forth between Houston and Atlanta, Debbie took an early retirement and moved to Texas. Four years after that, I retired (2010). It turns out your first love really is the best.
