John's Story
Hello,
Hope you have a great reunion! Best wishes to all of you. It seems so long ago that we were in high school. I went by my middle name Robert back in those days. It's great that we have a way to reconnect.
I enjoyed playing in the band more than anything in high school. I still play the clarinet occasionally -- at retirement homes or at church.
I'm still working. I've been working as a program analyst for the federal government since 1967. That includes two...Expand for more
years in the Army. I served 10 months in Viet Nam in a rear area and came back without a scratch. I moved back to the Washington D.C. in 1976 and have lived there ever since. I like working but it is getting more and more hectic all the time.
I have degrees in economics and public administration. I remember our teachers trying really hard to get us prepared for college.
I was married from 1983 to 2003 but it ended in divorce. We are still good friends.
