John's Story
After leaving memorial I spend a couple of years at UNH as a music major. Dropped out and went to work doing construction till was 21. I then became a Manchester NH police officer and did that seven years. I liked the training and the experience was good for me. I left MPD for UPS in 78. Started as a part timer while I went to SNHU full time at night. Picked up a BS in Management Information Systems and then drove for 5 years at UPS before going into management there. I spent the majority of my UPS career in Finance, and the last 7 years as the District Auditor for the North New England District. s a VP at Hill Halliday Advertising. Jill, my youngest recently obtained her Master in Educatiion and works in Laconia NH. As family we spent time traveling and camping, creating wonderful memories. Nowadays we all still love to travel but we have been spending more time at Duncan Lake in Ossipee NH where I purchased 4 waterfront camps. Everyone has their own and there is room for guests. There is a field, a sandy beach and plenty of room to relax or go fishing in a crystal clear spring fed lake loaded with trout.
The camps were in dire need of restoration and cleaning and during the past 2 years we have made a lot of progress. It is like one of those "makeovers" you see on TV. hahahaha. Along the way I have become fairy adept at fixing things like wiring, plumbing, carpentry, etc. It is fun work
I apologize for being untimely in creating a profile or doing much with Classmates web site, but after seeing other folks using it, it seems like an enjoyable thing to do and remember those folks with who I shared happy life experiences with.
