John's Story

Life I left Colorado in 1988 and moved to Sacramento, California. I was only planning to live there a short time and then move on to San Diego but I never made it there because my life took a different turn. A lot of my friends in high school expected me to become a famous actor one day, heck so did I. I was sort of well-known here in Sacramento, but not as an actor. From 1995 to 2005 I ran organization called Breaking Barriers that works to help people living with catastrophic illnesses. My notoriety didn't extend much beyond Sacramento though, so I always said "I'm world famous ...Expand for more
- LOCALLY". Anyway, I left Sacramento in 2005 because I finally did get a job in theatre. I'm now the managing director of the Hickory Community Theatre in Hickory, NC. It's a great town, a lot like Loveland in a lot of ways. I'm currently obsessed with Project Runway on Bravo. The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Heather Fortin, because I have always felt that I never put everything into our friendship that I could have. I'd also love to hear from old classmates, theatre friends or old stoner pals (although I've been sober since 1991). See you later.
