My husband and I finally retired and celebrated by riding to Sturgis SD for the big bike rally in August of '05. What a awesome trip! 4635 miles round trip on our motorcycles, what an experience. Can't wait to do it again. Maybe crosscountry this time, but it will have to wait until next year when the weather is a little warmer. We sold our house in Northern Virginia and moved to South Carolina. Our new house is ...Expand for more
great and we almost have it the way we want. Put in a new fence for the dogs so they don't run all over the neighborhood. Riding weather is longer down here and you don't have to worry about the horrendous traffic that we had to put up with in the DC area. We miss our kids and grandkids but we are close enough that it doesn't take us any time at all to get back up here and they can come down whenever they have the time.
