John's Story
Life
Graduated from Va Tech in 1967 with a BS in Business Administration.
Married Vivian and we had one son, Michael, who is married and living in Raleigh, NC. Have three grandchildren: Jackson born in 2004; Hampton born in 2007; and the princess, Presley, born in 2010.
Went to work out of college for the Naval Ordnance Station (now Naval Surface Warfare Center)at Indian Head, Maryland. ommand and the Secretary of Navy's office until I retired in Sept 1999 as the Deputy CIO for Programs and Planning. After retirement worked for a rapidly growing company in Largo, Md - Mulitmax, Inc. - where I was Sr. Vice President heading up the Managed IT Services Division. Multimax was bought by Harris IT Services from which I retired in January 2014.
My wife, Vivian, passed away in February 2014 from complications of Breast Cancer which she was diagnosed with in 2002. I recently relocated from Fairfax, Va to Wake Forest, NC to be closer to my family.
