John's Story
Since Graduation: I served six years in the Navy. Spent most of my time on a submarine stationed in San Diego. I also spent some time in Hawaii, Japan, Hong Kong the Phillipines, Washington, and even visited the North pole.
I met my wife, Ann, in 84 in Orlando and we started dating while going to sub school. We married in 86 and moved to her home state of Rhode Island in 88.
I started as a mechanic for an air compressor company and going to college. I was promoted to Manager in 92 and my daughter, Shelby, was born.
My second daughter, Catharine was born in 96. I took another management position in 2000 as head of production at an electronics manufacturer. In 2005 I was promoted to Operations Manager and that's where I am today. I am currently pursuing a business management degree with hopes of being President of the company in a couple years.
My wife and her two sisters own a candy company with two stores here in RI.

Interests?
I'm still very much like I was in High school. Still like to go to concerts, enjoy good food and friends. I have a large music and video collection. At last count my iPod had over 15,000 songs on it of all types and my movie collection is approaching 2000.
I collect and try to play guitar. I lift weights and walk and am currently dropping weight. I Still collect/invest in comic books. That usually gets a laugh until I tell people that my Spider-Man #1 made a very nice down payment on a new Dodge Ram. I like my toys and have a woodshop that would challenge Norm's. I also have a speed fetish and can be seen(albiet briefly) burning up the highway late at night in my Ram SRT-10.
I run a Group on Yahoo for Oak Glen students and one for my college friends that we call the "Shockers."
