John's Story
After high school, went off to Chabot College and then UC Davis. Surprise, surprise, got a degree in Computer Engineering. :) Promptly got into a dot com that at least got bought out. Bounced around the Silicon Valley for a while. Throughout high school, I was a fundamentalist born-again Christian. Near the end of our senior year, I realized that it just wasn't working for me. ocal students. We got married in July 2004. I worked a cumulative 3 years at Lawerence Livermore National Lab. Now, I'm consulting in San Francisco. Sadly, the marriage didn't work out. Thankfully, didn't have kids. While I'm not running anymore (ran Xcounty+track in high school), I'm still very active. I love hitting the gym. Got into kayaking with my best friend, this last year. It's a great combination of fun, connection with nature and (if you make it) a good workout. Single/dating and enjoying it. :)
