Life Hi, I moved to California in 1978, stayed until 1987 when I moved back to Poughkeepsie. Moved back out to the same town in California in 1990. Moved back to Poughkeepsie in 1994. Now, I wouldn't move across the damn street if my life depended on it! I'm dug in, and I'm staying. My oldest Daughter, Amber, graduated from Spack in 2004. My youngest Daughter, April, graduated in 2007 and is in the NAVY. It was great talking to all my old teachers whenever I went to PTA meetings and conferences at the schools. Amber is attending Florida Tech's aviation technology program, and already has a private pilot's license. She wants to fly corporate Jets. April plays the Bagpipes and was featured on the front page of the PK Journal last Saint Patrick's Day. The Navy has her stationedin Pennsacola, FL, and this will be the first NYC St. Pat's parade she has missed in 12 years. Speaking of the Irish in my family, I'll be getting the legal name change soon to John McBride. McBride is my mother's maiden name. Too many people are mis-pronouncing Salem as SALEEM. I AM NOT ARABIC!!!!! I AM AN IRISH CATHOLIC!!! I am also sick and tired of getting searched everytime I try to get on an Airplane.
