John's Story
I attended CUHS from 1957 til Nov 196o so I didn't really graduate from Campbell I moved back to my home town, here in Southern Illinois and graduated from University High School at SIU. The major part of my youth was in Campbell and I;ll always consider cUHS my alma mater.Durring the graduation ceremony at SIU I was actually on my way back to Campbell and I attended your graduat...Expand for more
ion ( class of '61) I sat in the bleachers and drank rum and coke and cheered you on. A fews months later Dave Leefeldt, Jerry Bothwell and I joined the Navy. I made a carreer of it, Dave got out after 4 years and Jerry didn't make it in. I haven't heard from or about Jerry since then. And thats brings us to the beginning of another longer story which I won't get to here.....J.R
