Life I Joined the USAF in 1985 and got out in 1988 on an early out program. I was stationed at March Air Force Base in California. When I got out of the service, McDonnell Douglas Aircraft was hiring in Long Beach, CA. I started working there as a surface and structure mechanic. In 1989 I married Becky and we bought a house in Moreno Valley, CA. (I brought her to the 10 year reunion) In 1990 there were openings for supervisors so I jumped on the opportunity. I worked as a production supervisor on the MD-11 program until 1997. During this time we had 2 children, Mariah Jae and Matteo Augustine. We decided that we did not want our kids to go to school in CA so I started looking for a job outside of California. In 1997 I landed a Job in Chandler, AZ at the Intel Corporation as a shift supervisor and we moved. Chandler is a town 10 miles from Phoenix, AZ. I worked there for 2 years until there was a massive lay-off. Being that I was new to the industry, I was the first to go. With this new semi-conductor experience I found a job at Microchip Technology in Chandler which I am still employeed with to date. I am a senior production supervisor and love the job.
