School
Kindergarten at Tracey's Elementary near Fairhaven, MD.
Grades 1-8 at Dogwood Elem. in Germantown, TN. That was a great school and great times. I lived right next to it.
Spent 2 years at Christian Bros. HS in Memphis, TN - hated it. Good school, majority snob people though.
Germantown High School. Ugh. We'll just leave it at that. Outside school, it was great - inside the school walls, not so much.
College years were at Mississippi State Univ in Starkville, MS. Met some great friends and had great times. Spent 5 years there and the first 3 were by far the best. The last 2 years were almost all work and no play which got a little tiring.
College
Mississippi State University. Wow - some of the best years of my life. Easy days playing football or hanging out and endless nights on projects or exams. I never thought I'd make it through the last two years, but we did it.
If I had to go back to any time in my life, I think I'd go back to the first couple years in college. It was great.
Workplace
My degree is in Mechanical Engineering, but I've been in the Logistics/Transportation industry for pretty much my whole career.

S) in Memphis, TN. My last summer I spent at a start up TNT Logistics in Linthicum (Baltimore area), MD after my parents moved up there.
I was offered a position there after graduation and moved to Glen Burnie, MD. Spent a few years as an Industrial Engineer/data modeler/ CAD designer there and eventually followed some "higher ups" to a more lucrative position at Penske Logistics.
Moved to Reading, PA and went to work at Penske to start up Penske Logistics Network Services from the ground up. I did Database Analysis, Network Modeling, and Implementation/Project Management there.
The same people moved to Memphis and I really wanted to get back "home" so when they made me an offer I couldn't refuse, I took it. Went to work for Mark VII, but on my first day, and agreement was made to move the team to i2 technologies as part of a joint venture. So, after a few months, I was now part of i2.
We started up i2 FreightMatrix which is a hosted Transportation Management offering of i2's popular Transportation software products and our in house built solutions to enhance it. After about 2 years, I was laid off in a massive restructuring, but a year later, the opportunity came back. I've now been back for 5 years in April '07.
