John's Story
I'm living in Alaska where I have worked for the past 28 years as a wildland fire management officer. My duties have taken me all over the country managing disasters, including hurricanes Ivan and Katrina (pictured above). I formed a consulting business that offers training and other professional management assistance for homeland security and disaster planning.

t of Alaska, hunting, fishing and flying. I am a commercial, instrument rated pilot and own a Maule on floats. I also enjoy snowmachining and four wheeling to many of the beautiful locations around the great state of Alaska.
I have been blessed with good health and have enjoyed an active, action packed life. I hope to get back to the midwest more often in the next few years and see all of my old friends and classmates in the years to come.
