John's Story

May 20th 2019, sorry all, I am disgusted with this website. They've only made it continuously worse over the past six years. Takes two days to search for someone. Remember when you could search by first or last name, all gone. Going to Facebook. Friend me there!!! WOOHOO You can find me on Facebook. This site is giving me nothing but trouble. Not too many people with my last name LOL. There is a John in Indiana but I'm still in Arizona!!! It's been a long road since the "Longhair" days!!!! Smoking on 19th avenue and then being forced to move to Thomas!!! That stunk, literally, car fumes!!! lol After my parents repo business dissolved, I started with another repo company in 1976. From there my career takes off. I always wanted to learn enough of the building trades to complete my own home. Wellllllll , I learned enough through: Concrete mixer driver, Electrician Apprentice, Roofing and Carpentry. My dream fell short as through the construction trades, my wrist gave out to ten surgeries. Great Doctor though, I can still move them somewhat. Then the unthinkable happened. After becoming a Real Estate Appraiser building myl Business for 12 years, Barney Frank , Chris Dodd and Obama signed the Dodd-Frank act in 2008. This basically shut down most appraisal businesses as we were called unethical and couldn't be trusted. They never even met me? Over 60% of Appraisal business's were forced out of work and directed to work for the Appraisal Management Companies, who are mostly owned by the banks, already had their own Appraisers. Where were we supposed to go? Then after taking my right to work away, my mortgage company wrongfully foreclosed...Expand for more
on my home of 18 years. I think I must have suffered from PTSD since my health(spinal stenosis and pelvic neuropathy) collapsed immediately after I lost my business and home. I am now on SSD where I believe the Gov. wants me!!!! Can't complain as I know there are thousands of similar people in my shoes. I lost $75,000 in equity from my home and the State gave me $1,483.00!!! Before the payment was calculated, the State wrongfully removed $51 million of our fund and put it in the general fund for all to have. Well, I guess I can be proud to be able to support my fellow Arizonans. I want to wish you all a healthy and adventurous life as it is really getting shorter. Nearly 20 people that I new have passed away in 2016. OK, I admit it, I still like our class(1976) song, Summer Breeze!!!! It's even on my MP3 player. As Phil Robertson of Duck Dynasty would say: Happy, Happy, Happy!!!😇😇😇 :o} ))))) Smiley Bearded John. Update update forgot to mention I've been in five movie so far. I think a lot of you were at ASU when A Star is Born was being filmed in 1976. That was my first movie. Next film in my illustrious career was Jerry Maguire filmed in the exact Stadium 20 years after A Star is Born. What a small world, eh? That was followed by The Lost Child filmed in 1998. That was a Hallmark movie of the week. Next came Cruel Intentions with Tom Arnold. I played the Dead Man's brother at the funeral scene was in about five minutes of that one. pretty cool, I got to sit right next to Tom Arnold in that one. Following that was eight legged freaks. I got to be a stand-in double for David Arquette. WooooooHooooo!!!!
