Until recently, I was the Public Relations Director at a small hospital that was part of a big group, the Jewish Hospital Health Network. It was a great job and much easier than journalism, although I did much of the same type work. I wrote, took photos and did design work. This included news articles, brochures, a web page and print ads. It was lots of fun. I was a journalist for 25 years and won national awards. During part of that time, late 1970ties, I was living in a hippie-style commune in Ohio. Music was the driving force of that group, and we still get together to play and party. I have lived alone for six years, or rather lived with a dog and a cat… It was two dogs, but Buford got nailed by a farm wagon, and Nick died at age 17. Everyone loves my dogs, so they were difficult losses. In 2005, I rolled a truck and broke my neck. They put a cage in there and I was back at work within one month.
