John's Story
Life
Mr. Spada is the Company Controller of Atlantic Power and Light and is responsible for its overall accounting and finance operations. His duties include establishing and maintaining internal accounting systems, establishing and maintaining banking relationships, working with external accounting firms and regulatory agencies, and ensuring compliance with government regulations.

He is a veteran of the tax and accounting profession, with over 35 years of active experience and has a public tax practice in Quincy, MA . He is an Enrolled Agent (EA) licensed to practice before the Internal Revenue Service and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). Mr. Spada maintains memberships in the National Association of Tax Professionals, the Institute of Management Accountants, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
