John's Story
After twelve wounderful years at WHS it was time to see the world. Of to join the US Navy. I Did my boot camp anf Navigation school in Orlando Fl. Next off to Youkosuka Japan on the USS-Midway (CV-41)Old Aircraft Carrier. Traveled to Korea, Hong Kong, Thailand, Phillipines, Africa, Australia, Mexico and Hawaii. Two yars later back to the US. g Beach Ca. 1990 out of active duty and home to the farm. 91 Moved to Milton Freewater to work road constuction. Heavy Equipment opperator. Paved roads in the summer and hauled aircraft de- icing fluid to all the major airports in the western fourteen states. Left all the travle and fun to come home to the county to work the family farm again. Dad is retired now so I have plenty to keep me busy.
