John's Story

Life Hi Everyone! Can you believe its been 36 years since we left good old Excelsior? Where has all that time gone? One thing I do know, that during the last 36 years, my hair and hard body ran off and disappeared! My brain still operates as if its only 25 or so, however whenever I pass a mirror, I see an old dude looking back! Shortly at the end of High School, I married Jeane Kammel, stayed married for about 17 years, had two Great Kids, Jill 35 and Jerilyn 33. I now have 3 Grand Kids whom live in Corona and La Habra. In 1995, I married again, to Karen, stayed married 5 years, then divorced, again! Been a wandering soul since then. I now own a home...Expand for more
in a town named Alta Sierra, CA. Its 60 miles East of Bakersfield, at 6000 ft, surrounded by the Sequoia National Forest. I live alone with my dog, Shep. I have had a few jobs, First I became a Union Carpenter, then went into the family Construction Business as part owner. I progressed to be a Professional Estimator and finally into a Independent Adjuster, having worked as a General Adjuster for Farmers Insurance for a few years. I am now working as a staff adjuster with a L.I.G.E.R. goal in mind, (Lousy, Inefficient, Goof-Off, Expecting, Retirement). 10 more years!! I would like to hear from some of you! Your Old and Happy Friend, John L. Strange
