John's Story
I stayed with what I always liked best: music. Been doing it as a full-time professional (or as full-time as one can be in the music biz) for more than 35 years. Done some of just about everything: rock, r&b, country, shows (spent years playing in the pits at the big theaters in SF), opera, ballet, orchestras, lots and lots of weddings. The past few years it's been mostly classical-oriented music, the black-tie stuff, 'cause that's where I can make a living. But I've been involved in some jump...Expand for more
in' stuff nevertheless.
Vitals: married three times, divorced twice, my wife now I had known professionally for years and years (she's also a violinist and a lot more too!) and this relationship is "the one," without question. I have 3 grandkids too, the oldest is 10.
That's about it. I still LOVE what I'm doing, and wouldn't do anything else. Of course I might have done a few things differently along the way (those two previous marriages...) but who can tell when you're in the middle of it?
