John's Story
After high school I served six months active duty in the U.S. Army Reserve. I served six years in the active reserve. I worked thirty years for Pacific Bell and eight years for the San Diego Unified School District.
I married my bride in 1964. We have been married for forty - six years. When we retired we built a home in Herriman Utah, and have lived here for four years.

ldren and thirteen grandchildren.
We are active in our church and are serving as missionaries here in Salt lake City. I do a lot of fishing as lakes and rivers are all around us. We live very close to the Bingham Canyon Copper mine, which is the largest open pit mine in the world. The only one that can be seen from outer space.
I miss the Old Gray Castle and am still proud to be a Caver.
