Dear Friends,
After leaving high school I went to several schools locally including Montgomery College, Rockville part-time and George Washington University where I earned a degree in accounting. I also attended Syracuse and the University of Virginia where I received a double masters in English and history. I worked in various branches of the government as well as occaisionally holding some more average part-time jobs in private industry and have lived in various sections of Montgomery County including Takoma Park, Rockville, Gaithersburg, and Potomac as well as Bethesda.
I have quite a lot of family in Harford County, Maryland where I frequently visit relatives.
At one time I travelled quite a bit. I continue to have an interest in politics as well as numerous other interests such as camping, swimming, basketball, writing, cooking, music etc. I have at least dabbled in a number of different activities and enjoy trying new things. What's your favorite?

I was once married but the marriage unfortunately didn't work out.
Currently I live in Wheaton in a nice modern 2 bedroom condo very close to the Metro, with my room mate Steve (also straight). I overcame a number of difficulties that I once had. Some people might remember that I was a little bit too much of a partier, but currently I have been clean and sober in 12th Step Groups for over 10 years. This doesn't put a damper on my activies at all; I just went to a Washington National's baseball game recently and plan to go to another soon. I enjoy sightseeing, concerts, even bar hopping, or just plain eating out and sometimes on a tight buget-a cup of Starbuck's coffee in Bethesda? Feel free to contact me. I will try to respond to whomever writes. I'm trying to get reacquainted with old friends and perhaps make some new ones especially if they live near the Washington D.C. area. truly, John
